Easy Thanksgiving Roasted Squash - This simple, sweet, traditional Thanksgiving squash recipe is divine. One of the most popular winter vegetables out there, squash is also very good for you and economical. Loaded with Vitamin A and C, this quick and easy recipe helps keep you healthy as the weather cools down.

Ingredients to make Easy Thanksgiving Roasted Squash
1 Acorn Squash, 1pound
1 Tsp. Butter
2 Tsp. brown sugar
Directions to make Easy Thanksgiving Roasted Squash
Step 1:Preheat oven to 400°F.
Step 2:Place 1/2 tsp. butter and 1/2 tsp. brown sugar in the cavity of each squash.
Step 3:Set the squash in the preheated oven and reduce the heat to 350°F. Roast for approximately 30 minutes. Using a spoon occasionally baste the top and inside of the squash with the sugar/butter mixture. Cool 5 minutes before serving.

Herbed Artichokes

| Herbed Artichokes - Amazing artichokes, are the feature of this oh so easy, and oh so healthy recipe. And because they are so deliciously nutritious, just the way they are, all we did was add a splash of citrus, water, and put them in the crockpot for a few hours with your favorite fresh herbs.

Ingredients to make Herbed Artichokes
2 lg Fresh artichokes
6 c -Water, hot
4 sl Lemon, thin slices
A couple of chopped, fresh herbs OR Italian Seasoning
Directions to make Herbed Artichokes
Step 1:With sharp knife, slice about 1 inch off top of each artichoke; cut off stem near base. With scissors, trim about 1/2 inch off top of each leaf. With sharp knife, halve each artichoke vertically; then scoop out and discard the fuzzy center or choke.
Step 2:Place artichoke halves in slowcooker; add hot water and lemon slices. Cover and cook on HIGH 4 to 5 hrs. Drain.
